All kite courses and windsurfing courses are held in the Kalpitiya Lagoon, as it offers an excellent area for training and training!

In Kalpitiya, you will be kiting/windsurfing in the lagoon most of the time. Ok, imagine the largest lagoon you know so far, then double or triple it in your imagination – so you see, the Kalpitiya lagoon is really big!
Our center is located directly on the water. Windsurfers as well as experienced kitesurfers can start at any time from our beach section in front of the resort. If you are not yet so familiar with your kite, we offer a boat transfer to the opposite sandbank several times a day (2 minutes boat ride; this service is included for guests of the resort ). The
spot is perfect for freeriders and freestylers because the Kalpitiya lagoon offers super flat water. In addition, you will mostly find shallow water and the water is between 28°C and 30°C.
In addition to surfing in the lagoon, you can also switch to the Indian Ocean at any time. You also have the opportunity to go on a kite trip with us to a remote and lonely fishing island (Paradice Island / Vella Island). An hour away by boat you will find the best conditions with absolutely flat water and stable wind conditions – always worth a trip! Just ask our team when the next kite trip to Paradice Island is on the program!

We organize both day trips and overnight excursions (hammock) to Paradice Island. (Minimum requirement: Basic License)
